Classic Cocktail Workshop with MIXOLOGIST Briana Emerson

Impress your friends and family this holiday season with your amazing cocktail mixing skills.

Take our 1 hour class on classic cocktail mixing techniques, Monday November 23rd, from 7pm-8pm.

The course entails classic cocktail history, basic equipment knowledge, two perfect cocktails made by you, and a classic cocktails handbook with all the recipes you need to create drinks at home.

Briana Emerson - Instructor

Briana Emerson is a mixologist based in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to NYC at the tender age of 19 to pursue a dance career. She began working as a bartender on the side in the Theater district at a local Italian restaurant where she was first introduced to the art of cocktail making. She fell in love with the beautiful history behind spirits and classic cocktails and how they have had such an influence on the history of the world. After training with Alchemy Consulting for an upcoming project she truly perfected her craft learning the importance of consistency, balance, and proper techniques. Her style of bartending is heavily geared towards fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. Her cocktails have been featured in The Wall Street Journal and Time Out New York. She currently curates the cocktail menu at Bar Corvo in Crown Heights and Al di la in Park Slope while also consulting around the NYC area. Her class is unpretentious and is a great stepping stone for anyone longing to learn more about spirits and the art of cocktail making. In this class she will go over the history of the classics, basic techniques, and the importance of fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients.
